Kan-edJune 15, 16, 17 Annual Membership and Leadership ForumRe-imagine
Kansas in the 21st Century The conference planning committee and all of
us connected in anyway with Kan-ed have been talking with each other and
many of you about the upcoming conference at the Century II Convention
Center and the Conference Center at Old Town on June 15, 16, and 17.
NOW is the time to register. Please go to the website at www.kan-ed.org
and take note of the call for registration on the home page. We have
done everything possible to keep the costs for this opportunity to a
minimum, and the cost is even lower with early registration as noted on
the site. Tickets for the Tom Peters event only, will be available
through registration and at the door. Tom Peters will engage every one
of us in thinking about how we Re-imagine all that we do, at the
conference opening on June 15. He will begin speaking at 1 p.m. in the
Century II center. He will spend over two hours setting the stage for
thinking about Kansas in the coming years. That will be followed by a
combination of audience interaction with him, and a roundtable led by
him along with key Kansas leadership. The June 16 and 17 days will focus
upon each of your interest areas followed by a Closing Keynote by Marty
Hale, former dean of library science at Emporia State University. Marty
will recap all that has happened during the conference and provide us
with unique perspective on how we leave the conference with a new
approach to getting our work done. Thanks for registering right away *
it will help us with our final program planning and preparation.
