[Kan-ed_members] Kan-ed Futures Group

Kan-ed is pleased to announce the activation of the Kan-ed Futures  
Group. The purpose of this group is to look at new technologies,  
innovations, trends, and thinking and consider the implications for  
Kan-ed and the four constituent groups. If you are interested in  
participating in the futures group please email your intentions to  
Theresa Anderson (tanderson at ksbor.org)  or Steve Wyckoff  
(swyckoff at essdack.org) so that you can be added to the mailing list  
for those interested in participating in the futures group. The  
Futures Group is open to any member of a constituent group, K12,  
Libraries, Hospitals or Post Secondary institution.

The first session will meet in Topeka at the Kan-ed office but  
subsequent sessions may, and likely will, be moved to other more  
centrally located venues. You may also attend all sessions  virtually  
via Marratech.

Below you will find the dates for the Kan-ed Futures Group for the  
next 18 months. You will notice that each of these days is the 5th  
Tuesday of a month which should dramatically eliminate conflicts with  
regularly scheduled monthly meetings

All meetings will run from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.
