[Library_members] Video/DVD checkouts

Hi,

My name is Carol Smith, at Oberlin City Library, and I am thinking of updating our Video/DVD checkout policy, and would like to have some policy examples from other libraries.

How long do you check out your Video/DVDs?

How many do you permit checked out at a time/library card/household?

What kind of late charges are imposed?

Do you charge for the days the library is closed? (if item already late?)

Do you allow them to be returned in an outside bookdrop after hours?

Is patron responsible for any damaged incurred, including any possible damage from bookdrop?

What size of a collection do you have, and does this affect your checkout policy?
