Wellington Public Library seeks a library director who will report to

a 7 member Board of Trustees, supervise equivalent of 5 F.T.E. and 

manage an operating budget of $208,000 plus supporting Trusts.  

The community of 9,000 is the county seat of Sumner with service

to surrounding area and membership in the South Central Kansas Library
System.

M.L.S. preferred, but will consider Bachelors in library-related field
with experience

in business or non-profit management. Starting salary based on education

and experience and includes health insurance, Kansas Public Employees
Retirement System, 

vacation & sick leave.  Application deadline October 28, 2005.
