Colleagues:

As we approach the time of year in which we have previously begun our grant windows, we wanted to bring you all up to speed on the status of Kan-ed Grants for FY07.  At this time, due to a re-structuring in our budget (with $2M coming from State General Fund and only $8M from the KUSF for this year), and adjustments we've experienced in other program costs, we will not be offering grants until we receive e-rate funds.  We expect notification of e-rate funds sometime after the first of the new year, and will keep you updated as we know more.
