[Library_members] Kan-ed Funding Update

Kan-ed Funding Alert:
 
Thank you to all our members who reached out and talked with Legislators.  While I am cautiously optimistic, full Kan-ed funding has been verbally agreed to by the House and Senate, and will be part of the Omnibus bill.  We are hoping that the House and Senate will sign the Omnibus bill this session.  On a more cautious note, the House included language that would require Kan-ed to do a study of "alternate funding sources" and present it to the Joint Committee on Information Technology by November of 2009.  When we see the "official" bill language, we will digest it and let members know.  Again, thank you so much for your support!
